Without surprising, one point that bears mentioning handles the Ping G20 driver standard shaft amount of 45.75

inches (and D3 swingweight). While this seems overly-long, especially for the GolfWRX membership where seems to be the preference, it's the standard length PING has stayed with

considering that the TiSI. If the USGA published their standard for measuring, PING was using a 56o sole plate and measuring to the end from the ungripped shaft. Once the

standard of measurement required a 60o sole plate and measurement to the end of a gripped club, PING opted to switch their published lengths instead of shorten what they've been

doing. They also discovered through player testing that golfers can handle this length with no significant drawbacks for the course and without forcing golfers to battle their

swing.
